Mauricio Ramirez Ortega is a Human Resources professional with a background in Applied Organizational Psychology practices in the workplace. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Christian Brothers University. He is an active member in Memphis Industrial Organizational Psychologists (MIOP). As an HR practitioner, Mauricio has worked in a variety of industries including Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Property Management, Real Estate Development and Investment, Higher Education, and Automotive Retail.
With a focus on organizational design and leadership development, Mauricio believes the best approach to talent acquisition and retention begins by developing a rich sense of belongingness through building and sustaining an inclusive organizational culture. Mauricio’s focus in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging involves education around the importance of ethical recruiting and understanding the complexity of developing business trends. Additionally, he believes that setting a framework for safe feedback channels and employee resource groups must be a priority for every organization aimed at developing a sense of acceptance and inclusivity.
